On the western mountain slopes of Gučevo, Boranja, and Tronoša, in an area covered by dense pine forests, there is a reserve of impeccable nature protected by law, containing countless crystal clear mountain rapids.
In this exquisite and tranquil nature, at a depth of some 400m, in a grotto of mineral rocks over 450 million years old, lies the largest hydro potential of cold mountain water in the Podrinje region.
According to tradition, just before the Battle of Kosovo, Jug Bogdan (brother of Princess Milica) and his nine sons stayed in this area and built a fountain and a chapel at the then already famous spring of cold drinking water. Since then, the “Nine Jugovića” spring bears their name and carries their honourable memory.
This DIVNA® Water, from the “Devet Jugovića” spring, on its route of natural filtration travels through organic networks of mineral rock and is naturally collected, making it the only water in Serbia that does not come from a well.
This Divna® Water contains a harmonious and truly OPTIMAL quantity of minerals, ensuring their individual function in the human body. It has a pronounced amount of calcium and magnesium ions (in a 2:1 ratio), which are minerals responsible for healthy skin, proper muscle function, and healthy bones and teeth. It contains only 1.73 mg of sodium, and 7.9 mg of dissolved oxygen per 1 liter of water, which is very important for regulating blood circulation, blood pressure, and cell function.
In its report, the famous German Fresenius Institute stated that this Divna® Water is “essentially pure” and that, because of its composition, can even be consumed by newborns without prior thermal treatment.
